Drag Race UK Series 8- Episode 7 Debrief

Welcome back to my blog that is all about Drag Race UK Season 8. I am shook to say that we are just over halfway in the competition as it feels like only yesterday I was writing my "Meet the Queens" blog. Before I begin, make sure you are up to date with the blogs and episodes as there will be spoilers and there may be slight swearing throughout this blog.
We are in the Werk Room after Anita's elimination. There is not too much to say and it is very quick and skimmed over.
Week 7
KY is becoming a little bit annoying as they are not winning and the spotlight has moved off of them. At this point, I do not like KY as I feel that their true colours are coming out. It would be interesting to see the rest of the competition.
MINI CHALLENGE - The Reading Challenge
I feel that the reads were slightly tame to what I was expecting, however I think that Alik is the rightful winner.
MAXI CHALLENGE - Acting
Before we get into assigning the roles, Mocha says that they were hit hard by the reads as the struggle with how they look as a boy. I felt that this could have been bigger and felt that this was skimmed over.
The roles are being given, then Flesh and Mocha both want a key role. KY steps in and says that this is a competition, but, you also need to be a nice human being. KY then says "Do I need to talk slower so that you understand". I get the idea that Mocha wants this role, but she did have a main part in the Rusical. I think that the context was there but everyone went the wrong way about it.
From what we saw. I feel that Naya is a high placement and so is KY, the other queens may be safe and Mocha may be bottom.
ELIMINATION DAY
Mocha tries to clear the air with KY and I agree with the point that KY isn't really listening. Mocha was in a dark space after the mini challenge and KY pushed them deeper, KY doesn't really apologise and kind of brushes it under the rug.
RUNWAYS
First is Naya and I'm LIVING. It's giving black widow, Super Villain vibes and they look GORGE. This is one of my top looks.
Next is KY and I don't like this. It feels like the mad hatter again. I like the blue and ginger as they complement well and I think that this is my favourite thing about the look.
Then we see Mocha, this is gorgeous. I love the bleeding heart and it is just PERFECT. This may actually be my top look.
Fourth is Alik, I don't hate the look however I do feel that we are going back to the old same shape. It is definitely elevated which is a good thing.
Next is Flesh and this is GAGGY. It's high fashion and it is amazing. This is my top look period. I am speechless.
Last is Coral. I don't hate it but I don't think it helped being after Flesh. It is high fashion but not my style, its very Cruella.

THE ACTING EDIT
I didn't know what to call this section but we are watching "Ghost Hunties". Overall I don't think that there was a weak performance, everyone is definitely safe and I doubt anyone is going home. I loved Naya's and KY's scene as the actions didn't match when the goggles were off or on and this made it was funnier.
UNTUCKED
The drama was brought up on the main stage and this annoying KY (quoting a queen) "she looks like the asshole" and I agree. I also don't think it was her place to get into the drama firstly.
FINAL PLACEMENTS
Winner - Naya Thorn
Top 2 - Coral Hole Mandi
High Safe - Alik, Flesh, KY Kelly
Safe - Mocha
LIPSYNC
This lipsync is for the top 2 and it is Naya against Coral. The song is "It Girl" By JADE.
This felt very much Naya as they could do the emotion and the pop parts of the song. The edit also focused of them more than Coral too. I feel like their win was deserved as they ATE this week.
