Bucket List

We all have a bucket list. Whether that be for travel or not, whether it be long or short, whether it be realistic goals or unrealistic. However, as it is Travel Tuesday, this blog will be concerned with the travel side of it.

I love travelling, but it's scary. Yes, for me, it's scary to travel especially when you're not necessarily going with people you really trust, maybe will have to go on your own, or, have to fly (since going to Peru I am really scared to do this now!). However, that doesn't stop me from having a long list of countries and places I would love to visit. To experience different cultures and food, and experience different climates, attractions, visit landmarks and see awe-inspiring sights; it's just so enticing to want to visit so many places in your life.

The top of the list is, for me.... drumroll please... ANY SOUTH AMERICAN COUNTRY. I know you're thinking "wow, that is vast!" - South America is a massive continent! And I have managed to visit, Peru, of course, but still would love to visit them all. Even before I went to Peru I've had a deep love for the continent and obsession; I know so much about the continent and always get South American quiz questions right. I just find it beautiful there and all the countries have their own quirks and personalities. I love the culture, and the people in Peru were so lovely. My ultimate aim/goal is to do a long cruise around the coast of South America - I would love that so much. Would you?

Another, closer to home, bucket list destination is Italy. It looks so touristy and beautiful. Venice and Rome being my top. I just can't live my whole life not going there. I'd also love to try their pastas! And all the landmarks there... it would also tick off another wonder of the world for me.

I'd love to visit more parts of France as I love France so much. I feel at home in France. Love the culture, love the people, love the language and love the atmosphere. I've only visited three parts of France; Paris, La Rochelle and Cherbourg. I'd love to visit Nice and the South of France. And I am sure I will! Hold this space...

Lastly, I'd really love to go to any of the following: Indonesia, The Philippines, Borneo or Malaysia. That group of Islands really entices me and I would love to experience that sort of culture as I have never really looked into it or been anywhere that is similar. The weather, sights and people really make me want to go there!

It's safe to say I've fallen in love with travelling, but, I still have lots of countries and even continents still to visit, and, I also want to be clear that I am humble and privileged to be in a safe country like ours!
