My fabulous cast & I decided to attend the breakfast service at Chestnut Tree farm. We had booked 2 weeks in advance as we had 25+ people attending. When we arrived, the staff was complaining at us for

not given them enough time to prepare. I believe 2 weeks is a plenty of

time to prepare. They then said to us they cannot serve the whole menu

so we could only eat the buffet. I found this ridiculous as everything on the menu was included in the buffet. How stupid.

When we eventually got our breakfasts, we found that the “crispy bacon” was in fact all compacted together covered in fat. Eww.

We also ordered coffees; 15 minutes later they finally arrived but the milk provided

was mouldy and had started to curdle. How disgusting. The food was okay but didn’t really live up to the standards of a “delicious breakfast” that they had been advertising. I would have put the review to 2 stars but

the fact that they asked me to leave a review after treating us with no

respect, this is now a 1.5 star review.

They must have easily got £250 from all of us excluding drinks, therefore they should have been grateful to have us there. So, our 25+ cast will be finding somewhere else to have our show breakfast at next time.
