Drag Race UK Series 8- Episode 2 Debrief

It's that time again where we sit and watch another episofe of Drag Race. Before I begin, make sure you are up to date with my blogs and the season itsself to get the full picture. There is slight swearing throughout this blog.
POST RUNWAY (LAST WEEK)
We are back into the werk room and no one was sent home with KY taking the win last week. There is some drama unfolding as Mocha said they are shocked they they didn't lipsync for the win, Naya then says that Mocha could have took her place. The votes from last week are then revealed and we find out the the bottom 7 queens that were ranked:

There is not much said after this but I think that the producers have done this in order to stir the pot and cause drama. Flesh was visibly shook and I think that they could confront the queens later which would be interesting to see.
WEEK 2
The queens were then in the werk room and "getting stuff of their chest". Delta called Danni a "grandma". I don't think that is as deep as Danni made it. I felt it could have been a quick chat to the side rather than a big thing in front of the queens. Lucky was hurt that their Talent Show was ranked low as it was about their culture. Lucky and Tequila then say that they were both hurt as it has been a bigger challenge for them to get gigs and Flesh said that they wouldn't be on the same as hers. Paris then defends Flesh and says they meant it as in Lucky and Tequila would be a comedy show and Paris and Flesh would not fit in. This section feels quite bitchy and could have been quick chats rather than a long talk at the table.
They then play a game similar to "never have I ever", I don't think that this serves a large role and is mostly a get to know kind of thing.
As Paris was the lowest last week, they have power to split the queens into two groups for the maxi challenge for this week.

MAXI CHALLENGE - SEWING CHALLENGE:
In the werk room, there isn't anything that is too big to say, just a little banter with nothing too big yet.
ELIMINATION DAY
We find out that Lucky isn't feeling well and may not have time to finish the outfit. This could also mean an early departure. We then see Lucky on the screen and they are the first queen to depart. I hope that they do something similar and bring them back for season 9 like they did for Veronica Green (Season 2 and Season 3). Tequila then breaks down and calls Lucky her "Asian Sister".
THE RUNWAY
First is Coral and I don't hate the look. I feel that it is enough to not be a bottom look but won't be a high placement. I think that they knew when to stop as it's just right with the details.
Next is Anita Piss. I think that the look would be a similar placement to Coral's but slightly higher. I just think that it is more polished and it may be one of my top looks.
Then we see Delta. I think that this is a bottom look as I think that it is bit clown like. It also looks too small which doesn't help.
Forth is Tequila. While it's not my favourite, it looks good. The outfit as a whole works well together. Overall I think that this may be a high safe.
After Tequila, we see Danni. I think that this may be bottom as it is very busy and has a lot of moving parts. It is very much giving tin foil space lady.
First for the baddie ball is Flesh. I think that this looks good overall and all the colours look good. I think that this is going to be a high placement.
Next is Alik. I think that we need to see them in a different wig style but the outfit is good overall.
It is very on brand for them and I think that it will be safe.
Eighth overall is KY. The look is good on them but I feel that it is kind of Halloweeny. I think that this is a safe placement but may be high.
Then we see Naya. I like the look and I think it could be top. It is well constructed. For me it is too similar to the entrance look, just elevated.
Tenth is Paris. I think the presentation is good and this may be my favourite look. They are showing diversity in colour but not the shape of the outfit. I think that this could be a top look.
Last is Mocha. This look is top and could be a win. I love this look and it is just gorgeous. I don't really know what else to say as I am shook.

UNTUCKED
The tops and bottoms are Anita, Tequila, Danni, Flesh, KY and Mocha. The rest of the queens are safe.
There is some comments to Naya saying that she may not have been safe if the judges were closer. Naya is just happy to be safe as she "didn't know what she was doing".
Paris is shocked to find that Flesh is not in the top and that Anita could be instead. Flesh is sad that this is what they presented. However, I think that they are safe as they're definitely other looks that are not as good.
ACTUAL PLACEMENTS AND LIPSYNC
Winner - Mocha
Safe - Anita Piss, KY Kelly, Flesh
Bottom - Ma Danni X, Tequila Thirst
The lipsync song is Where Love Lives by Alison Limerick. I feel that Danni could be doing a little bit too much and it seems a bit chaotic. Tequila seems more organised and in the moment.
Ma Danni X is sent home and I feel that this is fair as I feel that they are not as polished with their outfit against the other queens. They were also fairly low placing so far in the competition in my meet the queens review. I said I would like to see them in the top 3 or top 6. They did not make it and I think that they were shown off to be better in their meet the queens clip.
