Drag Race UK Series 8- Episode 5 Debrief

Welcome back to my review of episode 5 of Drag Race UK. I am very excited, as there is a lot of drama (that we have seen in the previews). So, like always, make sure you have watched previous episodes and read previous blogs by me. There may be slight swearing throughout this blog and some slight nudity. And with that, let's get into it.
We are back in the Werk Room after Delta's elimination, nothing major happens and it is skipable.
WEEK 5
MAXI CHALLENGE - MULTI LOOK RUNWAY
So, this week's maxi challenge is serving 3 looks in the P.I.G.G.Y pageant. I am excited as it would be interesting to see the Queens under a lot of pressure, as there are normally time limits in the challenge and they won’t find out the theme until moments before the runway.
CATAGORY 1 - This Little Piggy
There’s no massive drama, and it’s mostly the Queens focusing on the time limit, however Paris is starting to stir the drama up, but it doesn't form into anything yet. Most of the Queens say they take an hour plus to do their makeup, and they have less than that. It will be interesting to see the final presentation.
CATAGORY 2 - Pig Sty Chic
They need to create a high fashion look from items that they found in a "Pig Sty". They need to use 5 different items and have 1 hour. Just May came back and I only think the reason is because they were the first out in their season. Paris is feeling the challenge, and the drama comes from KY, due to what Ky said I feel that this was valid, all I’m going to say is that Untucked will be interesting…
CATAGORY 3 - Go Ham
This is an over-the-top pink look, they have 45 minutes in total. Michele Lamy goes in the werk room and give the Queens encouragement, nothing too big happens here.
RUNWAYS
Before I get into it, I am going to go alphabetical to make it easier for me.
Starting with Alik, I feel that while all 3 looks are different, all looks have been similar throughout the whole competition. While I don't hate them, it would be nice to see her in a gown.
Next is Anita, I feel that these have been some of her strongest looks, minus the Pig Sty look. I love the gaga reference in the slaughter look and I’m obsessed with the OTT pink look.
Coral is third and I love the mosh pit look the most. The Pig Sty isn't the best and the pink look is good but it’s not my favourite.
Halfway through and we are at Flesh. Going to the Pig Sty first and if this was a mini challenge, Flesh would have won, its high Fashion. The OTT Pink look is just as good and I feel that it's on brand. While I like the rave look, it’s not my favourite.
KY is next and I don’t love these looks, Little Piggy is giving Miss Piggy, I think it’s the aesthetic with the pink coat, the Pig Sty looks like a mess and OTT look feels a bit simple compared to the other queens.
Sixth is Mocha, I don't love these looks, however I do think that the OTT look is one of the best and is relevant to her persona and the category.
Naya is next and I think she is my top pick; there is diversity between all looks and they are not the same. The only thing is that the Little Piggy look doesn't give butchers, but that isn't too big of a problem.
Last is Paris, I don’t like the Little Piggy look as much but love the other two. The Pig Sty is giving Madonna, and the OTT is serving exactly what it needs to.

UNTUCKED
Before we get into the werk room, the remaining Queens should ask who should go home. The majority picks Anita and I agree with this. In the werk room, everyone is coming for Paris, she snaps back. I do agree, as Paris should have been told during the moment and not in untucked. Paris then walks off and everyone still talks about her. She comes back and apologised.

Winner - Flesh
Top Safe - Coral Hole Mandi, Alik
Safe - Mocha, Naya Thorn
Bottom Safe - Anita Piss
Bottom - Paris Baby, KY Kelly
LIPSYNC
The song is “Take Me to your Heart by Rick Astley. This feel rigged to KY. The Edit is split between both Queens. Paris is doing more and I think she is giving a better performance.
Paris goes home and is visibly annoyed. I am sad to see her go with the girl groups being next as she would have ate this. In my meet the Queens, I predicted top 6, they came 8th.
