Drag Race UK Series 8- Episode 6 Debrief

Welcome back to my review of episode six of Drag Race UK. Before we get into it, I want to say I am still not over Paris' elimination and it is ever worse as this week is the girl groups!
Quick disclaimer as usual that there may be swearing in this blog and make sure to watch the previous episodes and read my last blogs to get the full picture.
We are back in the Werk Room after Paris went home. The main feeling is that they will be missed, I feel that this is a bit two-faced as people were moaning in confessional but are now being nice about her. The other large bit of drama is that Anita is "pissed" at KY for saying her name in a bad light when Anita helped KY a lot. The reason is that KY picked Anita as she didn't want to deal with Paris's outburst.
WEEK 6
MAXI CHALLENGE - GIRL GROUPS
GROUP 1
Mocha, Flesh, Alik, Coral
GROUP 2
Anita, KY, Naya
Group 2 records the vocals first, KY is first and I think that she may be top and this seems obvious; Anita is struggling with timing. We don't see much of Naya but I think it will be safe.
Group 1 is next, we don't see too much but I think it will be a safe group.
The choreography is next and Group 2 is first again. Not too much is shown but Anita looks scared. We may end up seeing her in the bottom.
Group 1 next and they struggle more. I think its because Flesh is in control and made the choreo not as camp and some queens (mostly Mocha) is struggling. I feel that Mocha may also be in the bottom at this stage.
ELIMINATION DAY
Group 1 is first, I don't think that it was bad and it fits them well as the queens are mostly fashion queens. I think the only problem is that
they are not camp and this is the only thing that I can see wrong. Moving on to Group 2, they were weaker and I noticed that Naya missed some words, she could be in the bottom. For Anita and KY I think they may be safe.
RUNWAYS
Coral is first and I'm LIVING. It's an Amy Winehouse reference and it's prefect, it fits with the big wigs theme. This is already one of my top looks.
Next is Mocha, this feels weaker, especially after Coral. The wig isn't that big. The look overall is good but I think the outfit is just as good where I think the wig should be better or stronger.
Then we see Flesh. Again this wig isn't big enough and it feels like a regular look. While it isn't bad, I just don't think it fits as well.
Forth is Alik and this is a lot better. The wig is the main point. I also think that this fits well as it ties in with her character as it is a very "alt" look.
Next is Naya- it's giving poodle. While it's not as big as some of the others, I think it works as it is in scale. The look is good overall and I think that this may be a top look for me.
Sixth is KY. While the look does fit, it's not my favourite. It almost feels photo shopped as her face looks too small for the wig. The dress is nice but I think it would be better without the plats.
Last is Anita and I love the concept. It's giving storm cloud with rain dripping. This is one of my top looks but it's not my favourite.

UNTUCKED
There is not too much drama until KY is called out for saying Naya and Anita were back up dancers. KY says that it was a "piss take" and that she won't accept it. It was mostly a "I think I'm top, I think I'm bottom" kind of vibe.
FINAL PLACEMENTS
Winner - Alik
Top Safe - Coral Hole Mandi, Flesh, Mocha
Safe - KY Kelly
Bottom - Naya Thorn, Anita Piss
LIPSYNC
The song is "Kiss My (Uh Oh)" by Anne-Marie and Little Mix. The edit felt very Naya heavy. She also slayed the preformance.
Anita went home. I feel that this is her time and I feel that she became a bit stagnant. She came 7th and I predicted that she would be between
12th and 6th.
