Hello there!
Welcome back to my blogs; today I’m going to talk about my favourite trilogy of all time... LORD OF THE RINGS. I Hope you enjoy.
The trilogy first came out on July 29th 1954 in book form by J.R.R Tolkien- it was called Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring followed by the Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers in 1954 and Lord of the Rings: Return of the King on October 20th 1955.
I have always loved and been hooked to Lord of the Rings since my dad got me into it in roughly 2013; it's such a great franchise- I will always re-watch the movies time and time again. The trilogy tells a massive adventure about the one ring forged by Sauroan (an evil sorcerer) because he was so evil; he created his own army of orcs. He tried to take over all the lands of middle earth and failed because an army of men and elves stood up against him; they won after that the ring was lost for 2500 years! It was then found by a creature Gollum (my precious) he took it for 500 years and over that time it poisoned his mind and drove him mad but he then lost the ring and it then went to a hobbit called Bilbo Baggins where the adventures begin...
There are many different types of creatures within the world of Middle Earth including Wizards, Men, Hobbits, Elves, Orcs, Trolls, Dwarfs and Goblins. A little more detail awaits... there are 5 different Wizards called Gandalf, Saruman (who is the head of the wizards), Radagast (he guards the woods), and the other two they are not really the "main" ones and aren't named in the trilogy of books and films. Men just do their own thing and live their lives. Elves in the trilogy are leaving Middle Earth because they have been there for 2 thousand years, but, there are different types of elves too. Dwarfs are known for their wealth as they are miners, goblins live in the mines of Moria underground and Trolls are created by Saruon. Some are good; some are bad and that was just a whistle stop tour of some of them and what they do.
Over the years the franchise have released many of games but the most popular was Lord of the Rings Conquest. I love games (as you may know) and I love playing regularly The Lord of the Rings: Battle of Middle Earth 1, 2 and 3.
My favourite character is Legolas, who is an elf, because he uses my favourite weapon of all time... a bow and arrow and he is so accurate with his shots and the way he moves in battle and kills is why he is my favourite. And my favourite film out of the trilogy is the last one- Return of the King. What's yours? Email me at jude.gasbitesizeblogs@gmail.com
Thanks for reading my Lord of the Rings blog I might do one about the hobbit if you enjoyed.
