Travel Tuesday: Cadiz

Hello! We are back in Spain today but this time we are talking about the port/city of Cadiz.

Like all the other ports we were only here for a few hours because it was just too hot, and so we didn't get to immerse ourselves in all Cadiz has to offer, but we made the most of it.

It is said to be the oldest inhabited city in Western Europe, which you can easily find hints of when roaming around the city. We did a massive loop around the outskirts of Cadiz and did a little stroll into the town aswell.

We went and saw the beautiful Cadiz Cathedral which was stunning to look at. And all the architecture and buildings were really pretty and unique.

There were lots of nature and trees aswell and lots to see and do if you're visiting. Like I said, we just went and had a roam, not having a plan but just seeing where the day took us.

We ended up in this really gorgeous nature park. It had lots of different trees, different species of birds and other types of wildlife. It was serene and peaceful with water fountains too, and we spent a bit of time just walking around it and sitting down. Mostly because it was in the shade and cool but also was just really nice to be surrounded by such a lovely environment.

There were lots of playparks and snack shacks dotted around the city, so there is lots to do as a family.

The town was pretty with an array of different shops to look at aswell.

I would recommend going to Cadiz. We had a great time, albeit being extremely hot.
