British Caravan Holiday: Kessingland Review

Hey travel lot. We are staying a bit closer to home today in our Travel Tuesday blog - a classic staycation: the iconic staple British caravan holiday.

We have always gone to Kessingland; an hour up the road but a whole different vibe and feeling. A home from home but with that holiday feel every time. This recent visit must have been at least our 8th time there over the years because we love it so much.

The actual caravan park has lots to offer; quiet, on the beach, nature, clubhouse, restaurant, ice cream shack, shop, swimming pool, karts and lots more! The caravans we have stayed at have always been nice and offer dog friendly options for the Miss Peggy Pooch.

You just can't beat a simple British caravan holiday - I'm sure many of you would agree. There is something about it that just screams fun! But simple. It proves you don't need much to have a good time; family, friends, sea air, a tin "home", a few mascots and amusements arcades.

We had a blast of a Monday-Friday short break away. Bingo in the evenings, lots of card games and walks with Peg. Entwined with milkshakes, ice creams, fish & chips and chocolate!

The sound of seagulls, the waves hitting the ground and children's laughter will always be the one for me.
