Introducing Our New Book Club

Hello there my lovely readers. I am here to talk about the launch of our new Book Club...

I've always wanted to be a part of a book club.. You see it in the movies, you read it in the books (ironic!) and then you fantasise about it. The homely nature of it, the group of people all talking and coming together. Anyways, I thought what better way than to make my own within our lovely community of Bitesize Blogs. We can all start a new community and we can welcome everyone!

A plus to doing it within the community is that we already have a base to start off and we can merge them together, creating a bigger community and welcoming new people. The plan is to, once every book has finished, write a joint blog about our thoughts and feelings as a club.

We are also working with the idea that it will be slow paced to suit everyone and for it not to be too much of a committment. We will also vote on different books and encourage new genres each time.

We aren't going to be meeting up in person simply because our team at the moment is all around the country and I want to continue with the inclusivity and flexibility of this. We will just be messaging each other on our whatsapp community (come join if this is for you!). So if this sounds more up your street as opposed to a face to face, quite scary meet up - come join.

But the book club is not all about reading. We also have our writing side. The idea came from our Greg, and we are basically writing a story together, the story starting with Greg and each week a different person adds onto the story, if they so wish. Creating new ideas, plot twists, characters and leading it on for the next person weekly. If you are a seasoned writer or this is your very first time writing original storytelling pieces... we welcome you with open arms.

You do not need to be in the blogging team to join the BBB Club (Bitesize Blog Book Club) and it is a completely free club to join.

I have always loved reading; it comes and goes of how much I read with busyness of myself but having a focus of a book club (albeit slow paced) will really help me carry a passion on.
