Where Are We With The Book Club?

A little blog type follow up from me today about our BBB Club. How it's coming along, and how you can still get yourself involved. One key takeaway- it's not too late to join!
So, a month or so ago now I had the idea for a book club within the BB community. It took me a while to think of how it would work and how I can involve it within the community without making it the full picture or, in the reverse, it getting lost within the group.
Coincidentally, at the same sort of time as I had my idea of this book club, our lovely Greg had his own idea to make this book, whereby each week it gets added to by different people. I jumped at the idea and with some conversations we made it work and have combined both into our BBB Club (Bitesize Blogs Book Club).
So, we are two parts:
-Reading
-Writing
The writing part is going great! With some new faces, and also loved members of the team contributing to it each week. We are up to chapter eight now and you can read it all on our website. It's really interesting to see where everybody takes it. But we need new people to carry on the story! We welcome new writers with open, virtual arms so if you think you could write a chapter/instalment then email gabsbitesizeblogs@gmail.com and we would love to add you to our group. You can really take it anywhere you'd like!
Our other part is the reading. A typical book club if you were. We are currently reading the highly acclaimed "The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo" and on chapter 16 (which isn't very far into the book at all- they're short chapters!). So, it's not too late to join and catch up where we are. Each Sunday we discuss via message our thoughts for the reading that week. And at the end of it, we will write a joint blog with our final thoughts on it. Come be a part of the magic of reading. It honestly is a great book, and if you haven't read it, it's a must read and if you're in a reading slump or want to get back into reading it's definitely a book that can achieve that.
So, this was just a refresher of what BBB Club is all about and that we really welcome new people into it. It's completely free- so, what's stopping you?
