Immediately, a harsh gale gnawed at Elias' bones as time seemed to slow down. The environment around him blurred into a myriad of colours, elements, scenes flashing before his eyes.

Eventually, the winds grew softer and softer... and warmer.

Elias was instantly aware of the cold marble beneath his feet. Strange... he had worn footwear, but that seemed to have disappeared. In its stead was some archaic slippers, along with a white robe strewn across him. As he looked up, he saw a haggard figure before him.

The man looked old before his time; his beard was a matted mess of braids yet his auburn locks flowed graciously in the wind whistling through the pillars around them.

The man wore a similar robe, albeit accented with a regal purple. In his hand was an apple... or what Elias thought to be

one. One striking difference was that the apple was comprised of pure gold. Before he had the chance to even consider the possibilities, the man began to speak, his voice booming through the room.

"You seem to believe you are above the menial rules of mortal society, correct?"

The man had a thick accent, but no matter how thick, Elias could feel the vitriol of his tone slice through the air.

"...What?" A small gasp was practically all the answer he could muster.

"Do not take me for a fool. You have traversed the realms without strict permission from the Olympians."

Now that was a shock. The robes, pillars, fantastically environment... could he be in Olympus?

"You acknowledge that is a crime of the highest offense, yes?"

"I'm not quite sure what you mean... I

haven't intended to commit any crimes." Elias quickly connected dots while he had the chance. The auburn locks, the weathered look about him, the apple... the man standing before him was a facsimile of a modern-day Ares.

"No matter. Understandably, you have still broken the law."

Suddenly, the pillars around them began to rumble, sinking into the ground. The wind picked up, the hot air causing Elias to break into a nervous sweat.

"The usual punishment is to send dimensional vagrants straight to Tartarus. However. My sister made a surprisingly valid point before you attempted to step through the barrier once more."

Ares snapped his fingers, and the floor opened next to him. The marble practically melted away as a woman rose from the floor. She donned a stunning robe of bright

blue, with vines draped along it littered with petals of a pastel pink. Her hazel eyes shone like stars in the night sky, and in her hand was a lotus.

"I'm sure you've heard the tales of great Aphrodite." Ares proceeded to roll his eyes as she stepped forward - clearly he did not agree with such tales.

"Well, she mentioned that, as Olympians, we were meant to allow humans a chance to redeem themselves. For petty crimes, sure. But really, Aphie? For this level of offense?" Before he could start what sounded like a tangent, her voice broke through the air like ambrosia.

"I want to give Elias a chance. Whether you like it or not is up to you, but I had expressed permission from Father to merely send him to the Labyrinth."

Elias' eyes widened. The Labyrinth? But that would mean...

"Ah, yes, allow Asterion to tear him apart." Elias was about to interject, but Ares turned back to face him with a glare that could slaughter an army.

"You will have 5 minutes to prepare in the armoury before we send you to Asterion's prison. If you can escape unscathed, we will allow you to go home... on the conditions that you do not step between realms once more.

However, if Asterion hunts you down... well. You've heard the tales of the Minotaur."

With a bright flash, Elias' environment changed from the bright temple to a dark, mossy room. Strewn across a long table was an assortment of weapons and armour, along with some assorted items.

Before he even had the chance to process what was happening, he was seemingly thrown into a personal prison. He could

either sit and wait for the inevitable... or he could fight it.

He assessed the table. Spears, javelins, swords, bows, and shields along with a set of armour lay upon the surface, along with a golden substance in a bottle.

As he went to grab something, anything, a familiar voice rang out...

"Don't be rash."
